This was completed as a CE 499 Special Topics class by Robert McLean (Project Manager), Christopher Sandoval, Gegam Burnazyan, Krista Van Eyck, Mary Real, Matt Stocking, and Visal Te.

The objective of the project was to design a tank to demonstrate both flow induced and earthquake induced soil liquefaction. The team designed and built the entire system in a single ten week quarter. The tank is currently used as a teaching aid in geotechnical engineering classes.
